TB survivors trained to use the OneImpact app

A digital tool lets survivors report stigma, discrimination and barriers to care in real time – evidence for better TB services.

In July 2024, USTP trained TB survivors in Kampala to use OneImpact, a digital tool for community-led monitoring of TB services.

The app lets users report challenges such as stigma, discrimination and problems accessing care as they happen, giving USTP and partners the data they need for targeted action. USTP worked closely with survivors’ networks to make sure the app meets their needs, and provided training sessions and support materials so members can use it with confidence.

The app has already begun to highlight systemic barriers, helping partners put evidence-based solutions in place along the TB care cascade.
