Current Vacancies
Program Manager
Lead program planning and implementation through the development of work plans, budgets and reports. Keep track of implementation of work plans for projects and related activities, develop detailed project implementation guidelines to help USTP staff deliver on their mandate.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Medicine, or related field
- 3+ years experience in community health programme management
- Knowledge of Uganda's TB programme and NTLP guidelines
- Proven experience with CBO management and capacity building
M&E Officer — Data & Reporting
Leads USTP's monitoring, evaluation, and learning system. Responsible for partner performance data collection, analysis, and reporting to MoH and development partners.
Key Requirements
- Degree in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or Public Health Informatics
- Proficiency in DHIS2, Excel, and data visualisation tools
- Experience with national health information systems
Finance & Administration Officer
Manages USTP's financial reporting, procurement, and administrative operations in compliance with donor and government requirements.
Key Requirements
- CPA or degree in Finance/Accounting
- 5+ years NGO/INGO financial management experience
- QuickBooks and donor reporting (USAID/Global Fund) experience
Communications & Advocacy Officer
Manages USTP's communications strategy, digital presence, media relations, and advocacy campaigns aligned with World TB Day and national events.
Key Requirements
- Degree in Communications, Journalism, or Public Health
- Strong digital communications and social media skills
- Experience in health communications or advocacy campaigns
Early Career
Internships & Volunteering
Research & M&E Intern
3-month internship. Support the M&E team in data collection, DHIS2 entry, partner reporting, and dashboard maintenance.
Requirement: Final-year Public Health, Epidemiology, or Statistics student
Communications Intern
3-month internship. Support content creation, event documentation, social media management, and USTP website updates.
Requirement: Journalism, Communications, or Public Health student with strong writing skills
