Uganda Stop TB Partnership (USTP)

Uganda Stop TB Partnership (USTP) is a registered non-profit and non-governmental organization (Registration No. 6322, File No. MIA/NB/2025/09/5022, Permit No. 7753), established in 2004 to strengthen national efforts in combating tuberculosis (TB). TB remains a significant public health challenge in Uganda, and USTP aligns with the global Stop TB Partnership's vision of a TB-free world.

Our Approach

  • Advocacy and Policy Influence: Mobilizing political and financial investment for TB prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Social Mobilization: Engaging communities to drive grassroots action and raise awareness about TB.
  • Change in the volume of expected sales
  • Capacity Building: Strengthening the capabilities of CSOs and private healthcare providers.
  • Resource Mobilization: Securing funding to support TB initiatives and TB/HIV collaborative efforts.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Partnering with political, cultural, and religious leaders, TB survivor groups, academia, and others to amplify the national TB response.

To ensure every TB patient has access to effective diagnosis, treatment, and care, stop TB transmission, reduce the socio-economic impact of TB, and foster innovation in preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic solutions.
