The Uganda Stop TB Partnership (USTP) has revolutionized TB screening in Mukono district prisons. With USTP’s leadership, the project identified gaps in TB screening and implemented routine screenings for new inmates. This initiative uncovered 327 presumptive cases, leading to immediate treatment and significantly increasing reported TB cases. USTP’s efforts demonstrate excellence and a profound impact on improving health care in high-risk environments.
